GM Plans More Than $3 Billion for Electric-Vehicle Projects in Michigan – WSJ

This is great news for the great state of Michigan but also for the US as a whole

The explosion of the EV market has just begun and will revolutionize not just how we use energy in the future but also how and where we manufacture 

Global trade and logistics have also been irrevocably changed

While many global regions and countries have become more self-sufficient, it’s fair to say that the last 2 years have proven how vulnerable the North American trading block is

Many of these changes are positive and good both for jobs and new skills but also for the long term economic viability of the USA
