What is the future of the Internet?

With the Metaverse and Blockchain seemingly at odds as to what the future holds it’s certainly not clear

There are those who wish it to go back to its origins where the internet was for everyone

Then there are those who wish to turn it into another corporate behemoth whose goal is to develop as much income and data from its users as possible

Make no mistake, as much as some of these giants claim to want to make it easy for us their goals are clear

Will it be a hybrid of both potential worlds?
