Employers take note: Most remote workers don’t want to go back to the office

Are you back in the office 100%

I work out of a small satellite office 3 minutes from my home so, in truth, I never left the office.

But for millions of office workers who spent the vast majority of their time working from home, this is another huge shift.

Add the fast-rising cost of gas and the extreme dislike of commuting and we may be looking at another wave of resignations?

Flexibility is going to be the key and while I read this everywhere, many of the larger organizations I know are not offering many options.

Don’t get me wrong there are many companies that have but when 60% of remote workers want to continue working from home…

Some interesting stats here and some obvious reasoning, but the biggest takeaway for me is that people now value the fulfillment of their lives over their work.

Priorities have completely reversed.

This is a great thing.

Our values are being rebalanced and it’s about time.

Did it take a pandemic to force this change…a silver lining?
